Bakcang. Like many traditional Chinese food, zongzi (or also called as bakcang in Indonesian, machang in Philippines or bachang in Thailand) is also intended to honor either the divine persons or gods in history. Zongzi, this glutinous rice dumpling is traditionally wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. Bakcang is one of those things that you have to be prepared to make it.
We've finally reached the third installment in the Bak Chang series and today, I will feature our family Bak Chang recipe. Now, this recipe is definitely not for beginners as a considerable amount of skill and estimation on ingredients are required. Bahan Bakcang
- Diperlukan 1 ekor of ayam kampung (suwir""").
- Siapkan 10 siung of bawang putih cincang.
- Siapkan 100 gram of cumi" kering.
- Sediakan 100 gram of ebi kering (direndam dulu baru dicincang dan ditumis sampai berwarna agak kekuningan).
- Dibutuhkan 300 gram of kacang tanah (rebus ampe matang).
- Sediakan 2 liter of beras ketan(rendam dulu).
- Dibutuhkan 5 sdm of bubuk ngo hiong(giant ada).
- Siapkan sesuai selera of garam(aku 3 sdm),kaldu bubu ayam(1 sdm),kecap manis(aku 10sdm).
- Sediakan 2 ikat of daun bakcang.
